These terms cover this marketing website, MyKUBO, the Educator Portal and KUBO Play. An agreed order or school contract governs its specific commercial conditions. A school data-processing agreement governs processing on a school’s behalf when incorporated into its service contract or otherwise accepted in writing. These terms do not silently replace existing agreements.

Product information and enquiries

We aim to keep product descriptions, availability and indicative prices accurate. Products, prices and availability may vary by country and seller. Confirm the details in your seller’s quotation before ordering. Sending a form is an enquiry and does not place an order or create a subscription.

Purchases and subscriptions

KUBO hardware is purchased through our sales partners, or directly from KUBO where offered. The seller’s agreed terms govern payment, delivery, returns and warranty, alongside your statutory rights. This website does not grant an additional money-back guarantee or lifetime warranty.

KUBO Play access may be provided under a school subscription, trial or other agreed entitlement. Its price, duration, renewal, cancellation and any trial conditions are set out when you subscribe. The checkout, quotation or school agreement identifies the seller, charges and applicable renewal/cancellation arrangements. A partner sale follows that seller’s agreed commercial terms. Expiry or cancellation can end paid access; it is not a request to delete student records.

MyKUBO app

MyKUBO is a maintenance utility for teachers and parents. It does not provide student accounts, purchases or subscriptions. You may use MyKUBO on iOS and Android to connect to and maintain KUBO robots you own or are authorised to manage, including installing firmware updates and changing supported settings. The app and firmware are licensed for their intended use with compatible KUBO products; ownership of their intellectual property remains with KUBO and its licensors.

Permission to discover and connect wirelessly to your robot is requested through iOS or Android and is needed for features that communicate with the robot. You can decline or revoke it in device settings. Internet access is needed to download firmware. Follow the in-app update instructions, keep the robot adequately charged and nearby, and avoid interrupting an update unless instructed.

Availability of features and updates depends on your robot model, firmware and device. These terms do not add a hardware warranty or remove statutory rights. For copies obtained through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s standard end-user licence agreement applies unless a custom agreement is expressly supplied in the store. Educator Portal and school accounts

Educator and administrator accounts are for adults authorised to use the resources and manage the relevant school or organisation. You must provide accurate account information, protect passwords and sign-in codes, and only invite staff or create classroom profiles you are authorised to manage. Schools control their staff access and should remove access when it is no longer needed.

You may use the Portal’s teaching resources for the educational purposes allowed by your access plan and any licence supplied with the resource. You retain your rights in content you create. You permit KUBO to host, process and display that content as needed to operate the service and carry out your sharing choices. This does not grant KUBO an unrelated right to sell student work or train general-purpose AI models on it. Only upload content you may lawfully use; do not include personal information in publicly shared maps.

AI assistance is for educators. Do not submit identifiable student information or sensitive records. Review generated suggestions before using them in class: they can be inaccurate or unsuitable. Access to a separate product through Portal sign-in or billing does not make that product part of these service-specific terms unless expressly stated.

KUBO Play and student use

Students use school-managed profiles, approved school sign-in or class session codes under the school’s educational arrangements. An authorised adult or organisation manages the service agreement; students are not asked to buy subscriptions or accept commercial obligations. Keep access codes within the intended class and do not use another student’s profile.

Schools must have authority to provide the classroom information and give the notices and instructions required for their role. KUBO must separately meet its own obligations, including any applicable children’s privacy notice and consent requirements. The school data-processing agreement describes the terms to agree for school-controlled records; publishing it does not replace a signed school contract. The student privacy information explains access, correction and deletion requests.

Play records progress and activity to deliver the game and school learning features. Availability of content and features depends on the agreed entitlement. Do not disrupt sessions, attempt unauthorised access or share unlawful material. KUBO may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security issue, a legal requirement or an expired entitlement, with notice where practicable. This does not remove your statutory rights.

Schools can request an export or deletion of their records. Removing a Portal profile does not currently delete all associated Play records; contact KUBO for coordinated handling. Cancelling a subscription, deleting an account and deleting student learning records are separate actions. Follow the school agreement for the end-of-service return or deletion process.

Using our content and website

You may browse the site and use its interactive demonstrations for their intended purpose. KUBO and its licensors retain rights in the site’s text, images, videos, software and branding. Classroom resources are subject to the licence supplied with them. Any rights or exceptions provided by law remain available.

Do not misuse the forms, submit unlawful content, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access or disrupt the website. Only submit information you are entitled to share.

Availability and external links

The website may be changed or temporarily unavailable. External websites, including partner stores, are operated under their own terms. We are not responsible for their content or operation. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or takes away mandatory consumer rights.

Privacy

Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. Our Cookies page explains browser storage. Reading these terms or sending an enquiry does not give consent to marketing or optional cookies.

Law and updates

Danish law applies to these terms, subject to any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction that apply to you. Updates will appear on this page with a revised date. Material service changes will be communicated to affected account holders with the notice or agreement required by their contract and applicable law. A changed webpage alone does not amend a signed school agreement.
